[edit] Introduction
Imperator Caesar Augustus, born Gaius Octavius, was the first emperor of the Roman Republic. During his 40 year rule, he ended a century of civil wars, rebuilt the nation, and led Rome into its most posperous era, the Pax Romana.
My current goal is no less challenging: to create high-quality, unbiased articles, and to do it with the consent and admiration of the masses. I think that uniting Rome may have been easier.
[edit] Contributions
As a jack-of-all-trades, my edits cover a broad range of subjects. Depending on my mood, I'll either do some wiki-formating, make minor revisions, or contribute large chunks of text to a subject I know well. My current interests include Roman history, Ubuntu Linux, Canadian politics, cooking, physics, and medicine. I've even got degrees in the latter three.[1] A few specific articles that I'm watching/working on:

The Michael Igantieff page (and all related articles) are a particular hotspot. Right now, I'm keeping my eye on Ottawaman (contribs [1]), and his suspected puppets: Neutralizer (contribs [2]), Canuckster (contribs [3]), Teekite (contribs [4]), and BarbWatts (contribs [5]). Thanks to Sarah for pointing out Neutralizer's wikinews past, too.
