Gabriel Gaté

Gabriel Gaté (born 1955 in France) is a French-Australian chef.
After moving to Australia, he has established himself as one of the most popular chefs around Melbourne, appearing on the TV show Good Morning Australia as a weekly chef, and having a poem dedicated to his recipes by Robert Mascara. He has also appeared on Ready, Steady, Cook. Gaté also starred in the 2002 film, Trojan Warrior.
Gaté also appears in the Australian coverage of the Tour de France, showing the audience cuisine from the area of France that hosts each leg of the tour.
