Gabriel "Gabi" Fernandez is a soccer player who currently plays in the La Liga. He has a solid goal scoring record and is expected to progress further as the season moves along. He was linked with a move away from the La Liga to The Premiership with English Giants Arsenal, Newcastle and Aston Villa. A newspaper predicted he would fancy a move to Arsenal in the 2005/2006 January transfer window as his chances have been curtailed since the arrival of former Chelsea forward Mateja Kezman.
