Gabriel Bouck

Gabriel Bouck (December 16, 1828 - February 21, 1904), was a member of the United States House of Representatives (1877 - 1881) from Wisconsin.
He was born in Fultonham, Schoharie County, New York. Bouck graduated from Union College, Schenectady, New York. Bouck moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In 1848; he was admitted to the bar. Bouck was Attorney General of Wisconsin from 1858-1860; he was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1860 and 1874, serving the last year as speaker; Gabriel served in the Union Army during the Civil War.
After the war, he resumed his law practice in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where he died; he was buried there.
