Gabriel Watson (born September 24, 1983) is an American football defensive tackle who currently plays for the National Football League's Arizona Cardinals. He was drafted in the fourth round, pick 107 of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football for the University of Michigan, where he earned All-Big Ten Conference first team honors in his final two seasons. He is expected to serve as the backup nose tackle to the newly acquired Kendrick Clancy in his rookie season.
He played high school football at Southfield High School in Southfield, Michigan. He played all sides of the ball, including offensive tackle, defensive tackle, field goal kicker, kick off specialist, and punter, though his special teams appearances were primarily due to an injury to the starting kicker. Around 85% of SHS's running plays went behind "Big Gabe" Watson. He wore #78 in high school, as in college.
