G. Manoli Loupassi, a Republican, is the President of the City Council of Richmond, Virginia. He formerly served as a prosecutor. He attended St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Virginia, and Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the T.C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond. Loupassi is a first generation native Virginian; his father immigrated to the United States from Crete and became a restaurateur and real estate investor.
