[edit] Keep The Friggen Albums On
stop dleteing the god damn section for the released and upcoming albums!!
[edit] Answer
Wikipedia is not a crystal ball!!!
Wikipedia is not a collection of unverifiable speculation. All articles about anticipated events must be verifiable, and the subject matter must be of sufficiently wide interest that it would merit an article if the event had already occurred. It is appropriate to report discussion and arguments about the prospects for success of future proposals and projects or whether some development will occur, provided that discussion is properly referenced. It is not appropriate for an editor to insert their own opinions or analysis. Forward-looking articles about unreleased products (e.g. movies, games, etc.) require special care to make sure that they are not advertising. In particular:
Individual scheduled or expected future events should only be included if the event is notable and almost certain to take place. If preparation for the event isn't already in progress, speculation about it must be well documented. Examples of appropriate topics include 2008 U.S. presidential election, and 2012 Summer Olympics. By comparison, the 2028 U.S. presidential election and 2032 Summer Olympics are not considered appropriate article topics because nothing can be said about them that is verifiable and not original research. A schedule of future events may also be appropriate. Similarly, individual items from a predetermined list or a systematic pattern of names, preassigned to future events or discoveries, are not suitable article topics, if only generic information is known about the item. Lists of tropical cyclone names is encyclopedic; "Tropical Storm Alex (2010)" is not, even though it is virtually certain that a storm of that name will occur in the North Atlantic and will turn counterclockwise. Similarly, articles about words formed on a predictable numeric system (such as "septenquinquagintillion") are not encyclopedic unless they are defined on good authority, or genuinely in use. Certain scientific extrapolations, such as chemical elements documented by IUPAC, prior to isolation in the laboratory, are usually considered encyclopedic. Articles that present extrapolation, speculation, and "future history" are original research and therefore inappropriate. Of course, we do and should have articles about notable artistic works, essays, or credible research that embody predictions. An article on Star Trek is appropriate; an article on "Weapons to be used in World War III" is not. For a wiki that does allow discussion of "future history", visit Wikicities Future.
This will clear up any disputes (and note: this is not a warning) LILVOKA 18:46, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] OK What does it take to make an article?
This article is terrible! I don't understand this! You poeple are not using this Wikipedia wisely! Tell me this who started this! As far is it goes: Officially, Mobb Deep, Olivia, M.O.P. and Spider Loc are signed to G-Unit. M.O.P. and Spider Loc has not officially been apart of Interscope yet, so therefore it's still in the air. You are turning this article into a fansite. Look At the The DO NOTs at Wikipedia. I would like to see improvements in this article. Not a blovating page of nonsense. Thanks. LILVOKA.
[edit] Rumors
Ok. lets clear this up
1. Mike Knox is not signed to G-Unit he is just some guy who gives a shout out to g-unit websites
2. Paul Wall was in Ashanti's recent single "Still On It", and was featured in the "Stop Snitchin, Stop Lyin" soundtrack, which clears him up. 50 Cent may have approached him at the Vibe Awards or he didnt, he still isn't signing
3. Kool G Rap's wife Ma Baker just signed to The Black Wall Streets official producer Nu Jerzey Devil' record label Livelihood Entertainment, so Kool G Rap is not signing to G-Unit
4. Keyshia Cole is not signing to G-Unit, nor is Olivia being dropped
5. Lloyd Banks does not want to leave G-Unit, that was a rumour from The Source
6. The B.G. should still be in Rumors section since he still has his own label Chopper City and is not signing anywhere until he releases his album in late February.
7. N'yvus nor Jayo Felony are signed to G-Unit West since that rumor was started before there was even a G-Unit West, and was claiming that they were going to sign to G-Unit, but then someone changed it to G-Unit West when it was created to make it more believeable
8. 40 Glocc should really be in the Joint Venture section considering that Lil Scrappy and Lil John are and there signed to a brach of G-Unit, and 40 Glocc is also signed to Infamous Records
9. People should only put artists that have been comfirmed in the G-Unit, G-Unit South and West sections, and people that have not been confirmed in the Rumors section.
10. People should credit their sources not like people who have claimed that Lil Scrappy is a member of Trillville, which is ridiculous.
11. There should be a Producers section, look at the Aftermath Wikipedia page
LILVOKA is right therefore Mase, Lil Scrappy, MOP & Spider Loc shouldnt be in the roster section.
[edit] The G-Unit
Includes:
- 50 Cent
- Lloyd Banks
- Mobb Deep
- Tony Yayo
- Olivia
- Young Buck
Note: The Game for the time being until Interscope releases a press statement is still on G-Unit. This is a fact. Mase is still signed to Bad Boy, it's still in talks to release him from the label. M.O.P. and Spider Loc are not officially signed to Interscope, yet! Lil' Scrappy is working with G-Unit but it's not clear on where it stands. Kool G Rap, Lil' Jon, DMX, Beanie Sigel, Paul Wall and Jayo Felony are not on G-Unit. B.G. is currently in talks with G-Unit, but as of today not a member. So therefore, in two weeks this article will be improved to a standard. If there are any questions with this article, please talk to me! LILVOKA
[edit] West Kept Secret
When is this coming out? People keep chaning the date between early/late 2006 to 2008 WeedBoy5708 16:42, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The B.G.
50 said that the deal couldnt go through because it was to much money
A man this is a real west coast rapper who go by the name of chop and i am looking to sighn to gunit records i know fo sho that i got what it takes so 50 come holla at me
[edit] The Rumors are spinning again (update)
Once again I will clearly state this to all editors
The G-Unit label is a entity of Interscope and Universal Music Group.
The official roster of artists include Interscope.com/artists/artists_gunit.asp:
- 50 Cent (Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit/Interscope)
- Lloyd Banks (G-Unit/Interscope)
- Olivia (G-Unit/Interscope)
- Tony Yayo (G-Unit/Interscope)
- Young Buck (G-Unit/Interscope)
- Hot Rod (G-Unit/Interscope)
- Mobb Deep (G-Unit/Interscope)
- G-Unit (G-Unit/Interscope)
Where does it say that Spider Loc, M.O.P. and Mase are a part of Interscope? Tell Me? LILVOKA 17:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
I know they signed to G-Unit Records. But they are not on Interscope, yet! So therefore, they are still in the potential signings! Still Mase is contracted with Bad Boy Records. M.O.P. may be on G-Unit right now, and then they be off of the label sooner or later. And now Remy Ma is on G-Unit! I read the transcipt from Sohh.com, in the Pulse Report and I agree that it's possible for her to defect from Universal Records and join Interscope. But that just like saying that Keisha Cole was being scouted by G-Unit. Which was false. Remy Ma is still on Terror Squad as I last recalled it. And her album is on the shelves right now. So therefore, I believe it when I see the spinner on her neck. So don't play crystal ball and expect that they'll be on that label like Roc-A-Fella. It may take two years for an artist to release an album. Besides when does it become simple to just say that such and such is on G-Unit when 50 Cent hasn't stated it on BET or MTV. I also wonder the value of G-Unit West and G-Unit South. I hear that such and such is a part of this, but they are not on the list. So before you go forth and play I know whose on G-Unit, remember that Interscope calls the shots around the G-Unit. Artists who are on G-Unit are above. Thanks. LILVOKA.
- What is your basis? As far as I know, you have none, as you still have The Game on your list. Keyshia Cole hasn't said she's signing, but she hasn't said she won't, either. However, I question Remy Ma signing. 50 Cent dissed her collabo, Lean Back, saying the shit was a dud. Then again, 50 also dissed Mobb Deep on the same track, saying to Jadakiss, I'll do your little ass like Jay did Mobb Deep. So, LILVOKA, you are the "pot calling the kettle black. M. Burmy
somebody should put something about hot rod, willy northpole and the other guys that have signed to g unit
- All we can go by now are the artist pictured on the official website for G-Unit Records [1]. MOP and Spider Loc are pictured there. Ma$e is a free agent and will release one scheduled album with G-Unit and there is a link to his site which isn't up yet. Since this page is about G-Unit Records, not Interscope, I think the label's official site is a good source of determining who are the artist's on the label. How about you? -MrBlondNYC 09:54, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Can We Get A Rumors Section ?
like Hot Rod and Willy Northpole and Carnegie
- All rumors should be refered to this section---LILVOKA.
LilVoka I didnt know your name was Sha Money XL Unsigned comment from user:24.10.74.104Dlohcierekim 20:03, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
so a picture with willy northole and hot rod with g unit pieces on doesnt count for proof ?
I added Hot Rod because he was at a g unit concert with a spinner on and I put the link with him a 50 cent on stage.
who heard Lil Eazy was signing to G Unit
what the fuck who deleted the spider loc and hot rod sections fucking wikipedia stupid ass ignorant people can we get it back ?
It's happening all over again... XD Lmz00 23:54, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] G Unit Records
Someone created G Unit Records and was nominated for speedy deletion as an advert. It now redirects here. Capitalistroadster 03:55, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
wtf? sum faggot deleted the hot rod and spider loc articles from wiki, can we get them bak?
Who keeps putting Lil Eazy down ? he hasnt signed yet and he prob wont I saw that website and its not credible.
somebody should put 40 glocc down because either he is a mike knoxx or he is signed to g unit cause he says in almost every song that he is a g unit soldier.
Also, someone add http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Next_%28band%29
[edit] EAZY NOT SIGNING TO G UNIT

[edit] Former members
Hey with game you need to put bang'em smurf and domination who there in the beginning with 50 cent.
- Those guys left before G-Unit RECORDS was established. Remember, this page is about the record label, not the history of the group. -MrBlondNYC 09:57, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] LL's album
Although 50 is exec producing the album, will it actually be under the G-Unit imprint? -MrBlondNYC 09:57, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New artists
OK I added new members with links to interviews and their MySpace pages as proof. The fact of the matter is G-Unit is fast-growing label so there shouldn't any protests to additions if people provide proof. But I don't know anything about these guys so I didn't write any bio info. If someone out there knows about these people feel free to add but PLEASE write it nicely. You know what I mean. Take a deep breath and write it like it should be written and together we can make this a nice article. Thank you. MrBlondNYC 08:54, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
See I think that they are g unit too but I dont know if wikipeida or the other people that edit on here consider myspace a credible source even though that is real proof to me at least.
- This site seems to be edited by odd people. If what you say is true, those people need to just look at the artist's MySpaces and see that they are official G-Unit Records affiliated, otherwise that would be quite a copyvio on their part. Plus, the tons of pics of them performing and in the studio with 50 Cent and G-Unit make it pretty clear. - MrBlondNYC 10:19, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Once again
Hold on. You might want to refrain from doing anything! You are not providing any good proof that these people are signed to the label. Try to read the lines. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball for recording artists' albums, possible signings to any label or television show, forums to artists, a tool for MySpace sites, and especially fansites. You need proof just like your MTV and 50 Cent supports George W. Bush claims. You have a history of vandalism and threats. Don't try to make an edit war over simple misunderstandings. Please try using the Frequently Asked Questions. Also Spamming policy, and External Link policy are essential to helping create Wikipedia. Thanks again LILVOKA 20:32, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Released Albums
Who evers deleting "The Documentary" and the "Get Rich or Die Tryin soundtrack", needs to keep them there. They are albums that were released under the G-Unit imprint. Even though the game isnt g-unit anymore. It is still a G-Unit album. Darkneonflame 00:35, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Place holder
I'll leave that section of the article alone, seeing as how someone else is bound to fix it anyway. I just wanted to be the first to say "I told you so." Happy editing, guys! :) Lmz00 17:45, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sucess of Projects
Hey all. Started success of projects section. All information is factual. I dont know how to site sources on wikipedia but you are all welcome to contribute and help out.
