Göcek is a township with own municipality depending Fethiye district center in Turkey's Muğla Province. It is one of the important centers of tourism, especially of yacht tourism, in Turkey and is home to a large yacht marina. The town lies on the northern shore of the Gulf of Fethiye, opposite the district center Fethiye, and at a distance of 22 km from the international Dalaman Airport.
