Gîsca

Gîsca (meaning "goose" in Moldovan; Romanian: "Gîsca", Russian form: Gyska) is a village near Bender in Bessarabia. It is under de facto control of Transnistria, a breakaway region of Moldova.

According to Russian sources the War of Transnistria the village was the scene of alleged human rights abuses by Moldovan troops. According a report of Russian organisation for Human Rights, "Memorial", some members of armed Transnistrian paramillitary were killed in this village, however no fire was opened against civilians[1].
