- Stroke Due to Cervical Manipulation - Alan H. Bragman, DC
- These recommendations have been produced by French Society of Orthopaedic and Osteopathic Manual Medicine (SOFMMOO). They were published in English in: Vautravers P, Maigne JY. Cervical spine manipulation and the precautionary principle. Joint Bone Spine. 2000;67:272-6. The aim of these recommendations is to reduce the number of rotational cervical thrust manipulations in a targeted population (females of less that 50 years old) because of the risk of harm to the vertebral artery.
