Fyodor Cherenkov (Russian: Фёдор Фё́дорович Черенко́в) (born July 25, 1959 in Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian football midfielder who played for Spartak Moscow (1977-90 and 1991-94) and Red Star Football Club (1990-91).
Cherenkov made 34 appearances for USSR national football team, scoring 12 goals. He is widely regarded by Spartak's fans as team's best player ever.[citation needed] Currently Cherenkov works as a coach of Spartak's reserves team.
