The MRC Futurity Stakes is a Group 1 weight-for-age thoroughbred horse race. It is held at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne, Australia. Since 2006 it is held as the first leg of the Asian Mile Challenge series, and its distance is changed to 1600m (1 mile).

1898 - 1972 held over 7 furlongs (approx 1400m).
1973 - 2005 held over 1400m.
1979 held over 1800m.
2006 onwards held over 1600m.
