It seems a bit odd that "Fur Rendezvous festival" should be the title of the article, while "Fur Rendezvous" redirects. The full name is Fur Rendezvous. Virtually none of the other articles on festivals have the descriptor added where it isn't part of the name, even when the name doesn't unambiguously suggest a festival. And speaking of dab issues, there isn't one, since nothing else uses the name. Any objection to moving it? --Zero Gravitas 06:13, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- I started the article, and IIRC my reasoning at the time was taken from the Rondy history page [1] where their first introduction states "The Fur Rondezvous Festival...". I seem to remember that with "Festival" being capitalized, it was part of the "official" name (but then I didn't capitalize it on here, so who knows!). If it's part of the name, I would vote to keep the name on here as is. Perhaps we should contact an official from Fur Rondy????? —akghetto talk 08:49, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- Huh. You'd think that if it were part of the "official" name it would show up in that form more often; I still think it would be better dropped, but I'll concede the point. It probably ought to be capitalized, though. I'll just take care of that right now. --Zero Gravitas 09:10, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
