Furr High School

Ebbert L. Furr High School is a secondary school located in Houston, Texas.
Furr, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Houston Independent School District.
Furr houses Houston ISD's international studies magnet.

[edit] Neighborhoods served by Furr
Furr serves several Houston neighborhoods in eastern Houston inside and outside the 610 Loop, including Clinton Park, Pleasantville, Oates Prairie and Northshore-area neighborhoods north of Market Street and west of the Greens Bayou. The school also serves the Houston ISD portion of Jacinto City (areas north of Market Street).
[edit] School uniforms
Furr requires school uniforms [1] for its students.
Uniforms consist of white polo or oxford shirts and khaki trousers, shorts, skirts, or jumpers.
The Texas Education Agency specified that the parents and/or guardians of students zoned to a school with uniforms may apply for a waiver to opt out of the uniform policy so their children do not have to wear the uniform [2]; parents must specify "bona fide" reasons, such as religious reasons or philosophical objections.
