Furka Pass

Furka Pass is a pass (2431 m) in the Swiss Alps connecting Gletsch, Valais with Realp, Uri at 46°34′22″N, 8°25′00″ECoordinates: 46°34′22″N, 8°25′00″E.

The Furka-Oberalp-Bahn line through the Furkatunnel allows to avoid the pass road. The base tunnel opened in 1982 and replaced a tunnel at 2100 m.
