Furano, Hokkaidō

Furano (富良野市; -shi) is a city located in Kamikawa, Hokkaido, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 25,521 and a density of 42.48 persons per km². The total area is 600.83 km².
The city was founded on 1 May 1966.
