[edit] Speedy deletion
Regarding the article Greenland whalefishers, which you tagged for speedy deletion with {{db-music}}, I wanted you to know that I have removed the speedy deletion tag. This article does not qualify for speedy deletion because it asserts notability as the band in question has released singles and albums. If you still want the article to be deleted, please use the WP:AFD process. Thanks! Stifle 14:15, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] beatles break up
why do you think the articale should be merged?--Wompa99 00:37, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

- Honestly, I think it should be deleted. But I wanted to be polite. There's plenty of speculation on what caused the breakup, but certainly if an article hasn't been written yet that's not the article to start it. There is, I'm guessing, sufficient attention paid to this issue in the standard Beatles article. FunnyYetTasty 00:39, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Personly i think that the article should stay because it a big event and i created it because the article is linked to on a page and a lot of people try to look the topic up.--Wompa99 00:48, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

- This article seems more speculation than anything else. Considering that JFK's assassination was in '63, I don't think that offers a compelling explanation. At the moment, it just isn't a long enough or substantive enough article to merit standing on its own. I really think a good indicator is that it hasn't been written yet. If this was an obscure band, or if people rarely addressed the topic, fine. But the Beatles are massively known and the breakup is a major topic of discussion. Given that, I would assume if something worth saying about the breakup on its own, it would have been said by now. My own recommendation would be that you put some of the pertinent information (such as the lawsuit) directly into the Beatles article. Or you could add it to the History of the Beatles article as well.
right now i am still working on writing the article--Wompa99 17:59, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Types of Nightclubs
Hi Funny, I believe that this section does benefit from the mention of specific places- nightclub hours are acutely related to the place in question. What passes for regular hours and afterhours in a wild, free-living city like Berlin is completely different from the more conservative hours of Boston or L.A.
