Queen drummer Roger Taylor released his first solo album Fun in Space in May of 1981 in the UK and US. The album was the first solo album by a Queen member. The album was recorded in between legs of Queen's tours for The Game and Flash Gordon albums. Taylor wrote, produced, sang and performed all of the songs himself. While the album did fair in the UK, the album tanked upon its US release.

"Future Management" was issued as a single in Europe while "Let's Get Crazy" was released in the US but sank without a trace.

The album was re-released as a digitally remastered CD in 1996 in Europe and is only available in the US now via import.
