[edit] Brief history
Shortly before the Navarre acquisition, FUNimation conducted a survey on its website asking the fans what they thought about a 24-hour anime cable network. Several months passed and Navarre had completed its acquisition of FUNimation before the company announced The Funimation Channel.

On March 23, 2006, FUNimation announced that in addition to the Funimation Channel, it will be launching a 2-hour syndicated anime block. On April 8, 2006, the block was added to CoLours TV, and in September to KIKU-TV. The shows are in their dubbed form.
