Full Moon Productions (or FMP666) is the longest running American black and death metal label after DSP (Deathlike Silence Productions). It was started in May of 1991 by Jon "Thorns" Jamshid from Lakeland, Florida. After releasing the first issue of Petrified 'zine, Thorns decided to sign several black metal bands which included Burzum, Hades, Algaion, Nastrond and Vlad Tepes. During this time he worked close with Count Grishnackh of Burzum and Euronymous of Mayhem. Soon FMP signed Mysticum, Black Funeral, Abruptum, Swordmaster and other bands.

Petrified 'zine continued for several issues containing several explicit interviews with murderer(s) Count Grishnackh of Burzum and Bard Faust of Emperor plus many obscure underground black metal interviews and reviews.

In the late 1990s Full Moon Productions put out the Tribute To Hell Satanic Rites compilation CD. This double included tracks by Mayhem, Acheron, Thy Infernal, Tartaros, Centurian, Swordmaster, Outbrek, Naglar, Thy Primordial, Sarcamntum and others. The cover was done by Petagno, who is known for the Motorhead artwork.

Full Moon Productions relocated to Parker, Colorado in May of 2006.
