[edit] Fugitive - The Game
Fugitive is also the name of a popular game played by High School students across the country. A typical game runs between 2 - 5 miles, normally between two schools that are relatively close together. The game is normally played at dusk, and may last into the night. The game is played by two groups:
- Fugitives, who's primary objective is to run from Point A to Point B without getting caught. There are no rules about the route that can be taken, besides that it must be on foot, and everyone must start from Point A.
- Chasers, charged with the responsibility of catching the fugitives. Normally use cars, but can operate on foot. They patrol the area between Point A and Point B, and must "catch" all the fugitives before they get to Point B. If the fugitive in question is female, only a tag is required to 'catch' them. However, if the fugitive is male, he must be tackled to the ground. Of course, there are exceptions -- simply use common sense.
