[edit] Replacements for Tachikoma's in 2nd Gig

The replacements at the end of the second season are actually "Uchikoma" (Unless I'm missing a syllable). They look almost exactly like Fuchikoma except for the Tachikoma style legs and the single "eye" in the front (a sphere type also used on the Tachikoma). There is also an additional "eyeball" on the underside of the pod just like the Tachikoma had. Smidge204 21:13, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

Merger Tachikoma/Fuchikoma
  • Someone apparently suggested merging Fuchikoma and Tachikoma. I don't think it makes sense - they're substantially different. DenisMoskowitz 02:15, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

A Tachikoma-like spider-tank makes an appearance in Masamune Shirow's Dominion Tank Police too, which might be worth mentioning in "appearances".
