Fruit Tella are chewy sweets similar to Starburst and Chewits, but harder. They are made by the Italian company Perfetti Van Melle who are famous for making Atomic Fireballs and other candies. Fruit Tella are known for being less artificial tasting due to the fact Fruit Tella cotains real fruit juices (although this is probably very little). The Fruit Tella flavours are Blackcurrant, Citrus Sour, English Fruits, Strawberry and Summer fruits. Fruit Tella are quite a rarity in the United Kingdom.

Fruit Tella are known for the advertisement in the United Kingdom which contained the song I'm Too Sexy by Right Said Fred which was done in the late 1990s.

Fruit Tella released the Strawberry flavour sweet in a sugar free version called Fruit Tella Light. They also released Fruit Tella fruit gums light.
