For example one a five minute game resulted in one broken collar bone and numerous other injuries.

[edit] The Game

Frugby is a hybrid game, which is best described as a cross between Frisbee and Rugby where there are two opposing teams, who have the aim of getting a Frisbee "The Frug" through the goal in order to score a point. The team with the most points wins. The game is played with attackers (who start with "The Frug") and the defenders, who have to defend their goal, whichever team has possession of "The Frug" can score, no matter who started with it. After a team has scored they become the defending team, relinquishing possession of "The Frug" to the other team, who become the attackers regardless if they have just been the attackers or not. Other than those simple rules there are no others, with regards to attacking the other team, so games can get quite violent with many 'Bundles' occurring during games, in which players jump on each other ending up in a large pile.

The Pitch that the game is played on is usually a large area of grass or open ground, approximately 30m long by about 20m wide with each teams' goal usually being about 2m wide. Soft ground such as grass is often chosen to prevent injuries.
