Frost Belt

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Frost Belt is a term in American English that refers to the Great Lakes Region and the Northeastern United States, that is often perceived as frost-covered; with brisk, cold winters, and surreal amounts of snow fall.

While the Frost Belt has been a focus of American economic activity, census results indicate a population shift from the Frost Belt to the Sun Belt.[1].
