Front End Loader are an Australian rock band, consisting of Davis Claymore (vocals, and guitar), Bowden Campbell (guitar and vocals), Richard Corey (bass guitar), and Peter Kostic (drums). Peter also drums for Regurgitator and The Hard-Ons.

[edit] History

Formed in the early summer of 1991 in the grimy back streets of suburban Darlington, Sydney, Front End Loader was originally chosen as a ridiculous, strictly temporary title, until something better came up.

Their first album was the self-titled Front End Loader, featuring the singles "Weak as Piss", "'Fraid Knot" and "All Star Jam". An appearance at the 1993 Sydney Big Day Out was the band's first experience of rock festival excess.

In early 1994 they released the Adolescent Fantasy World EP, and second album Let's Ride!, was released in March 1995. Their third album, Last of the V8 Interceptors emerged in August 1997, preceded by the single "Pulse", experienced high rotation radio play.

March 2002 saw the release of album number four How Can We Fail When We're So Sincere?. In August 2003 they released a mini-album titled Ape Got Fire.

FEL have decided they will probably never break up, and if it takes 5 years between albums. The next release is scheduled to be a live album recorded at Sydney's Annandale Hotel.
