From Software is a Japanese software company founded in November of 1986 that develops games for Sony's PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo's DS, GameCube, Microsoft Windows PC's, Xbox, Xbox 360, and Sega's Dreamcast.
They are well known for the Otogi and Tenchu series and have strong ties to Sega, who distribute many of their titles overseas. Their signature series has been Armored Core, which has spanned over 13 different games across multiple platforms since 1996.
