From Sea to Shining Sea is a concept album by country singer Johnny Cash, released on Columbia Records in 1968 (see 1968 in music). The album is structured around songs of the sea, as opposed to most of Cash's other concept albums, which usually involve themes related to American history, especially the Old West. Each track on the album was written by Cash; none of them were released as singles.
