Fritz Schäffer

Fritz Schäffer (12 May 1888, München29 March 1967, Berchtesgaden) was a German politician for the BVP and the CSU. In 1945 he became the first Bavarian government minister after World War II. From 1949 to 1957 he was Minister of Finance and from 1957 to 1961 Minister of Justice.
