"Friends Will Be Friends", a Queen song written by Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, from the album A Kind of Magic, was released in the UK on June 9, 1986. It was the band's 30th single release in the UK. It reached number 14 in the UK, and in the top 40 in many of the European countries. It was also to coincide with the band's "Magic Tour" in '86.
