"Friends & Lovers" is the fifth episode from the first series of the popular crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Gil Grissom and Warrick Brown investigate when a victim is chased to death in the desert. They wonder what the victim was running from. Meanwhile Catherine Willows and Nick Stokes investigate the gruesome murder of a Catholic school dean. Sara investigates how the body of a woman who was buried last week ended up in a dumpster.
