Friends' School Lisburn
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Friends' School Lisburn is one of nine Quaker schools in Britain and Ireland and shares a common heritage with each of them.
The school was established in 1774 and is situated in Lisburn, about 15 miles southeast of Belfast in Northern Ireland.
The Quaker belief in care for the individual and in the importance of the development of each person's potential remains central to the school's ethos and helps it to cater successfully for the different traditions within the wider community of Lisburn and the surrounding areas.
