Hi, does any body know about local history in this area? I've added a little but could do with more - particularly older stuff, like the origins of the name. I'm assuming it's to do with marsh land and the River Lea (note: surrouding areas Enfield Lock, Enfield Wash). Thanks Rogwan 20:36, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
