[edit] NPOV?

Is the "Recent Topics of Discussion" section sufficiently NPOV? I'm assuming that statements like "The Supreme Court sets the 5th Amendment on fire" and "Kids are duped into joining the anti-freedom military" are phrased in terms of the biased phraseology of the podcasters, but I'm not sure how one could succinctly rephrase the list without just putting a bunch of quote-marks around all the biased bits -- which would look lousy. --Jay (Histrion) 00:29, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

Oh, and sorry, I couldn't find a template for nominating only a section of an article for POV examination. --Jay (Histrion) 00:29, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

I don't believe this tag applies to even the section involved. The topics of discussion of this radio program are accurate, the subsection of the NPOV article states

The neutral point of view attempts to present ideas and facts in such a fashion that both supporters and opponents can agree.

I don't believe there is a disagreement as to what the topics discussed were, and the topics themselves may be biased or controvertial but so long as the description is accurate the section is not POV.

The NPOV-section tag can be found at Neutral_point_of_view#Other_resources and is {{NPOV-section}}.

I reworded a few of the descriptions a touch, and it does look and sound better now.

[edit] FSP

The FSP isn't a libertarian group. They're a diverse group with no "official" political ideology other than "we believe the size of government should be reduced to 1/3 of its current size". Of course this is like libertarianism - but its also like other ideologies (anarcho-capitalist, objectivism to name a few).

[edit] Re: FSP

Whether or not it's Libertarian taking a strict definition of Libertarianism can be debated. But, using a loose definition of the term, it is libertarian.

[edit] Edited for clarity

I corrected some impediments to flow and a few minor diction errors.

[edit] It's a libertarian show

I'm going to add in the first paragraph that this show, though it talks about "you taking control", is primarily a libertarian political talk show. I don't think that people coming across this article will get a fair impression of what FTL is otherwise.
