Talk:Free Speech TV

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"extreme left wing" apparently needs to be added to wikipedia... it's definition will certainly be "extreme human concern" when used in the context of FSTV.

i spent all my years as a late gen baby boomer (1959) feeling displaced as to "who we are/were" (not hippies, not quite disco'ers, definitely not yuppies nor madona-ites,...). through my 20's and 30's i found myself yearning for my elder boomers to take charge again, now in the modern world, and resurge the radical movement of the late 1960's, and applying it to all the modern political corruption (reagan thru bush1) of the day.

when i hit 40 and we stepped into bush2 in 2000/1, i knew we were in trouble if a movement of people did not take hold soon. obviously the events of the bush2 administrations speak for themselves...

i had gotten to the point where i would literally cry when i would talk to my older teenagers, having to tell them that THIS is the world we are handing over to them. crying because i felt as though no one outside of my family and small circle of friends felt or could see that so many things in this country were so out of control, and seemed so out of reach to gain control back over...

...early this year (2006) friends and i were cussing/discussing the media manipulation that had been becoming more and more obvious to even the most casual of viewers, when the youngest friend i have (25, actually only one year older than my oldest son) told me about fstv network and it's programming, saying it was exactly along the lines of what we were looking for.

here i found unbelievable environmental, humanitarian and political documentary and exposés, movement groups and production companies, and actual investigative news shows that were speaking the same words we all were. here i found my elder boomers through the youngest generations of y2K adults, speaking in and producing documentaries, news shows, investigative shows and keynote speeches, all with links through production names to a whole slew of americans of all ages, who are ALL fed up with today's situations, and are searching for a public media to get their findings and concerns out on while encouraging organized movements.

fstv and link tv channels show liberty news (www.libertynewstv.com), democracy now (www.democracynow.org) source code (sourcecode.freespeech.org), inn report and keynote, as well as other shows/documentaries that are imperative for this country's citizens. it is amazing when you get real news, how pathetic all major network news really is, and what idiots they all must think we are.

also on the "must" list of valid news sources are: countdown with keith oberman on msnbc (www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036677/), free speech radio news (www.fsrn.org), and commedy central's ('thank you God' for) the daily show with jon stewart (www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_daily_show/index.jhtml).

whether you're an angry boomer or a pissed gen 2K'er NOW is the time... and fstv is the place to start!

fstv it's a must. tell a friend, tell your children, tell an extreme right-wing friend, or two... and them tell them again. i tell everyone about FS and Link tv and their websites... especially anyone i reach on an 800# that seems to be outsourced.
