Freddie Garrity at the Internet Movie Database has year of birth as 1936, not 1940. Cutler 11:06, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge suggestion
There is nothing here that's not repeated on Freddie and the Dreamers. That site also records his death last month. --Richhoncho 21:57, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not in favour of a merge, because Freddie was an important musician and merits an article of his own. This article just needs expanding. Deb 22:10, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think he is notable enough for a standalone article. His obituaries can be used as a basis. Capitalistroadster 05:42, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I was a little premature in my suggestion, the band is partly named after him, but it still would be nice to see some notability that doesn't derive exclusively from the band. I'll let somebody else have the pleasure of removing the merge notice, although it did help expand the article, and that can only be to the good. Thanks --Richhoncho 08:01, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
