Freya is an opensource (GPL), free and very stable[citation needed] Ragnarök Online server emulator, programmed in C. Its goal is to emulate the work accomplished by GRAVITY Co., Ltd.

Freya was created a few years ago by Yor, a french developer because he did not like the way eAthena was being developed. Freya is based on eAthena release candidate 4. Name 'Freya' means Free Ragnarok Emulator Yor Adopted.
