The Fresno Arts Council (FAC) is the official Fresno County, USA arts council.
The Fresno Arts Council runs under the California state arts council, the California Arts Council (CAC).

[edit] Fresno Blues Festival
Annual event featuring local legends, up-and-coming talent, and nationally-known blues musicians in a day-long concert with a park setting. This popular festival regularly attracts people of all ages – families, students, and groups – from all over the Central Valley.

Annual ceremony to recognize people and businesses who have made outstanding contributions to the community through the arts.
[edit] Folk & Traditional Arts Programs
Outgrowth of the Folk Arts Consortium assembled by the Fresno Arts Council in 1990, was made possible by a three-year National Endowment for the Arts grant that enabled us to hire a Fold Arts Coordinator to develop and implement a program to preserve and present traditional arts.
[edit] Scholarship Fund
Awards scholarships each year to high school seniors in city schools who plan careers in the arts. The scholarship program was initiated with funds from the Harry C. Mitchell Trust.
[edit] Exhibits at City Hall
A program, developed with the cooperation of city staff, that has grown immensely since its beginning in 1992. This program provides exhibit opportunities for amateur and professional artists, community arts groups and organizations, elementary and high school students, and senior citizens.

The Fresno Arts Council hosts workshops that provide technical assistance to arts organizations and artists, presents two annual visual arts competitions, assists community groups with arts projects, and publishes a quarterly newsletter.
