Fresh FM Nelson

Fresh FM is a not-for-profit community access radio station run by the Tasman Broadcasting Trust that covers the top of Aotearoa/ New Zealand's South island/Te Wai Pounamu. It broadcasts on 99.4FM and 95.4 FM in the Nelson region and 88.4FM in Blenheim in the Malborough region.

Fresh FM is the only radio station broadcasting in these areas with local studios and a base in the community. Local iwi have gifted it the name "te reo irirangi o te tau ihu o te waka a maui".

Fresh FM was formed by the 1994 merger of Boulder Radio (Nelson City) and Harvest Radio (Te Awhina Marae in Motueka) at the suggestion of New Zealand on AIR.
