At least four ships of the French Navy have borne the name Argonaute:

  • The 74-gun ship of the line Argonaute (1794), which fought at the Battle of Trafalgar.
  • The Argonaute, a French privateer vessel commanded by Emmanuel-Auguste de Cahideuc, Comte Dubois de la Motte.
  • A torpedo boat built in 1892 and launched in 1893, decommissioned in 1910
  • A submarine, built in 1927, launched in 1929, sunk by the HMS Achates on the 8 November 1942
  • A submarine of the Aréthuse type (1958), now a museum.
