Christopher, Lorelai and GG head off to Paris to bring GG to see her Mother Sherry who left in Season 5 to get a job offering in Paris. As Christopher said Lorelai was very good with Sherry at the airport and she was very good with GG on the plane.
Christopher packs the car and refuses to tell LoreLai and GG what time the plane leaves. Lorelai tells GG Paris is called the City of Love and GG asks why and Lorelai says because there is tons of love in it but there are also lots of pigeons there but nobody would want to go and visit the City of Pigeons. When they get in the car Chris tells them they can go get a coffee because the plane does not leave for three hours and Lorelai and GG laugh and say they knew it.
Rory ends her job as Editor-And-Chief of the Yale Daily News and she becomes unsure of what she wnats to do with her life wondering if she should go to Grad School or become a lawyer but Olivia says she does not want to be a lawyer. Rory gets a huge pencil as a departing gift from her Yale Daily News members and gives the Editor job to one of the fellow reporters. Olivia and Lucy suggest a girls night out in Stars Hollow so they go andthey go thre scrapbooks of Rorys past realizing Dean was really handsome and tall and Rory finds out Lucy has a thing for knowing how tall people are by jusst looking at there picture. They make a joke about snap crackle and pop and decide to make rice crispy treats and when they look for the pan, Olivia and Lucy think its awesome Rory's heights throughout her childhood are marked on the door. Lucy talks about her amazing boyfriend. When they all get back home to Yale Lucy's boyfriend is in the apartment and she flips and introduces Rory to her boyfriend Marty who happens to be Rory's old friend and much to Rory's shock Marty pretends not to know her.
Despite serious jet lag Chris and Lor have a very romantic and lovely time. They get engaged and married in Paris when Chris pops the question at a romantic dinnner. They could not find anyhting to eat and slept throug the dinner reservation at a very fancy resturant. They get mocked by a parisian bus driver calling them "silly americans."
