The French 53rd Infantry Division was a French Army formation during World War II.

During the Battle of France in May 1940, the division contained the following units:

  • 208 Infantry Regiment
  • 239 Infantry Regiment
  • 329 Infantry Regiment
  • 66 Reconnaissance Battalion
  • 22 Artillery Regiment
  • 222 Artillery Regiment

It was a Series B Reserve division containing older reservists.
