Freixo de Espada à Cinta (pron. IPA: ['fɾɐiʃu dɨ (ɨ)ʃ'padɐ a 'sĩtɐ]), sometimes erroneusly called Freixo de Espada Cinta (an archaism), is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 244.0 km² and a total population of 4,014 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 6 parishes and is located in the district of Bragança.
The present mayor is José Manuel Caldeira Santos, elected by the Socialist Party.
The municipal holiday is Easter Monday.
