Frei family

The Frei family of Chile became politically influential during the 20th century, and has played and still plays a significant role in Chilean politics. It was started by Eduardo Frei Montalva, president of Chile between 1964 and 1970.
His children have also followed the political path, and are important politicians:
- President Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle
- Senator Carmen Frei
