Freeway Frank

Freeway Frank was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is the current host of the syndicated Canadian Top 20 countdown. He is also heard nightly on 99.9 MIX-FM Toronto from 7pm - 11pm.
Recently, Frank was hired by Sirius Canada and also hosts a daily show from 9am - Noon (repeated from 9pm to Midnight) on Channel 95 Iceberg Radio. This is available on both Sirius USA/Canada on channel 95.
Freeway grew up in Montreal where he attended Champlain College and then later studied at Concordia University. His first taste of radio was at CHAM radio followed by CIRL where he was the Program Director and on-air host of the University Station.
Professionally, Frank first worked for CHUM LTD in Montreal from 1990-93 at CHR 990 Hits, followed by Oldies 990 (Frank Kelly) after a format switch. 93 took him out west where he worked for CHR CKLG LG73, then 730 CKLG Vancouver's Talk Radio for a brief period, then hired by Z95.3 where he worked until late Spring 2001. He continued working for Standard Broadcasting but moved to Toronto where he has worked for 5 years. Freeway has worked for Standard for nearly 12 years.
Freeway Frank is Italian-Canadian.
