Fredrik Nordström, born January 5, 1967, is a renowned Swedish record producer, and guitar player for the heavy metal band Dream Evil. Known as one of the leading melodic death metal producers in Sweden, Nordström has worked with some of the genre's top acts, including At The Gates, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Soilwork, and Opeth.

Fascinated by technology from a young age, Fredrik opened a small recording studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, mainly to record his own music. The studio evolved into Studio Fredman, one of the leading Swedish recording studios.

Fredrik formed the melodic metal band Dream Evil in 1999 to perform his own music, releasing three albums and an EP. Today he is considered one of the top metal producers in Europe, and one of the central figures of the Gothenburg style.
