Fredrik Åkesson is a Swedish guitarist, currently of Talisman, and is now with the melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. He was recruited after original guitarist Christopher Amott decided to leave the band in 2005. He also plays guitar/solos on the Krux album "II", released in 2006.

Currently Åkesson is endorsed by ESP Guitars.
