Frederiksborg Amt (English, Frederiksborg County) is a county (Danish, amt) in the north of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. On 1 January 2007, the county will be abolished and become part of Region Hovedstaden (i.e. the Copenhagen Capital Region).
