Freddie Jones

Freddie Jones (born in Stoke-on-Trent on September 12, 1927) is a British character actor.
He became an actor after ten years of working as a laboratory assistant, when his hobby took over.
He became famous for his role as Claudius in the 1968 British television series The Caesars. He tends to play eccentric and insane characters.
He currently plays Sandy Thomas in ITV’s popular Soap Opera Emmerdale.
He is the father of actor Toby Jones.
