Fred Maher

Fred Maher is an American drummer, programmer and record producer.

He was a member of Massacre (1980-81), Material, Scritti Politti, and is best known as the producer of Lou Reed's album, New York (1989), Matthew Sweet's album Girlfriend (1991), and Information Society's self titled album (1988, which achieved platinum sales status), their 1991 release Hack, and a track off of 1997's Don't Be Afraid.

He has often collaborated with entertainment producer, Ron Baldwin.
